Delainey Elizabeth Millikan was born on March 28, 2003, in Liberal, Kansas to Lance Millikan and Macy (Mullens) Millikan. Delainey was a beloved and charismatic individual known for her “million-dollar smile” and kind heart. From a young age, she connected deeply with others, even when language barriers existed.
Educational background
Delainey attended multiple schools, graduating from Liberal High School in 2021 and earning an LPN degree in May 2024. Her compassionate nature made her a valued nurse at Newman Memorial Hospital.

Nicknamed “Junie B” after a beloved character, Delainey was spirited and adventurous. Her childhood included building a boat named “Sunshine” and active participation in church activities, where she committed her life to Jesus in 2013.
She was a nurturing “mother hen” to her siblings, cousins, and foster children. Delainey met her soulmate, Will Hoffman, in February, and they were excited to welcome their own child, affectionately called “Little Bean.”
Delainey lived fully, loved fiercely, and left a lasting impact through her kindness and hugs. As an organ donor, her giving spirit continues. Her family cherishes the memories and encourages others to pass on her kindness and hugs in her honor.
